Members of the Mauritian Police Intervention Group traveled on Wednesday, 8th of June at Cascavelle, near Rempart Mountain. They were informed on Tuesday night that a car was found at the bottom of the lake.
The assistant superintendent Gungadin was present at the scene and said that “there is indeed a car in the lake.” He, however, added that no weapons were found.

It was onTuesday that the police registered a complaint about a subject – it could be a vehicle – which would have ended up at the bottom of this lake of at least five meters deep. The lake is more precisely located close to Rempart Mountain.
